yoyoyo What up homies!! This week was kind of a longer week... not because it was hard, because of all the meetings I had. I had to go to leader training meeting with my companion because he it the district leader.. that was tuesday.. Wednesday morning I had to go to Lima to start my papers for my Visa, stayed the night in Lima. The next day we finished the papers, Which took all day!! haha but thats okay. We travel by bus so I didn´t get home until really late, and then Friday we went to a meeting in ventanilla which is about 45 min away from huaral... and that meeting was all day also... so this week was full of just travel and sitting and waiting in line for visa. It was kinda awesome though because I was able to see all of my friends from CCM, and talk to them about their lives, and whats going on in there areas! I had a really good week! It just felt really long because I couldn´t do work! oh well! So the other day my companion and I were sitting there resting from all the walking we had been doing and a dude started talking to us.. in the middle of the conversation a drunk dude came up to us and said that he is a gringo.. and he was born in the United states and was white. but He´s lived in Perú for 30 years so his skin is dark and he has turned into a Peruvian.... hahaha!!! So.... I´ve got some news... My companion and I had a baptizm Saturday!!!! And I was the one that baptized him!! It was awesome! I was kinda nervous at first but once I got into the font the words just flowed out of my mouth! Other than that nothing else has really happened... I hope that you guys are having fun with your lives!! :D

I had to give my first talk this week and I had a talk about the book of mormon I had written out a couple weeks ago but something kept telling me that I needed to change it and it wouldn`t leave me alone until I did.. so I did and I had no idea what to change it to so I just started flipping through my scriptures and a scripture I had highlighted in seminary, hit me! I basically said teach your brethern to repent... I kinda doubted it for a second so I kept flipping and there it was again! said a little differently but the exact same thing! so I changed it to repentance. I`m not a person who can really talk in front of crowds very well... so I was relying a lot on the Spirit because repentance is kinda a touchy subject for some people... so I got up there said a little prayer took a deep breath and started stalking. I stumbled a little at first but after a second the Spirit took over! Also next week is my first baptism! the dude in the picture is the baptism of Elder Lansing and china! the really short dude his name is Adrian! he is getting baptized next week! So I also had another work visit this week.. I went over to Elder Lansings area... it was me and Elder Lansing! we are both still in training! haha but the day was fantastic! I realised I actually know a lot more spanish then I thought! but Elder Lansing and I may have stayed up until 3:30 in the morning... haha talking about videogames and music and stuff! The day after was our weekly planning session and so I told my companion that I want to start flip flopping! that where he teaches then I teach. He asked "are you ready for flip flopping" and I told him either way we gotta start doing it! and ever since then We`ve been flip flopping! :D thats pretty much all thats happened!

I feel pretty good! haha It started out a little rough but once I got into it it wasn`t that bad! also The pictures were almost ready and then my internet shut off... and They are going to take forever to load... so now you might have to wait a week....

Well everybody! this week was pretty much awesome! Nothing super special happened but I was able to talk to more people! I guess that might be because of everyone! Thanks!!! :D Talking in spanish is getting easier and easier! The most interesting thing that I got for you is that I had to watch Conference in Spanish! haha it was really interesting but really awesome at the same time! because when I did understand something it was something that I needed to hear! so.. pretty much thats awesome! also I may be downloading the first session in English right now! :D After Sunday morning session my companion and I were going to Lunch at our pencionista´s house and we saw this dude start running and just nail this guy! haha Idk why but my companion said that I was going to see a lot of that! ..... I can honostly say.. that scripture reading is so important! but not just reading! you need a notebook right next to so as soon as somthing you read hits you.. you can write it down and remember forever! but don´t right down everything just what the Spirit tells you! :D Hopefully all of you are having a good week!

Well everybody.. this weeks kinda been a longer week because my companion and I haven`t had very much success... I`m thinking it`s my fault because I haven`t been able to understand anyone this week and I haven`t gotten over my shyness.. and I can`t figure out how to take that first step.. everytime I do... it feels like something is stopping me... Oh well.. I`ll figure it out! With the help of the Lord anything is possible! Anyway the light in the darkness is the Adrian one of our investigators went to church!! we actually went to pick him up and when we got there nobody answered the door.. so my companion called him and he said he was already at the chapel!! haha he beat us to the chapel! also all the people that he talked to.. talked to us and said he is totally ready for baptism! he`s already sharing the gospel with others! it`s awesome! Other than that nothing at all has really happened... oh well I guess to add to the darkness my camera broke.. so I have to figure that one out... but yea.... I hope your all doing fantastic!! yoyoy what up everybody???? I haven´t been up to much just the usual waking up and studying and the teaching people! the usual! This week has been a little longer week because I kinda started freaking myself out about spanish... but it´s fine now Because of this i´ve gotten a little more comfertable and it comes a lot easier now! :D Anyways my companion and I have mainly been hunting down members that live around us and finding where referels live... it´s so hard to find houses in the place it´s not even funny!.. anyway we´ve been doing that and the guy I talked about last week, when we went to visit him He had a really big smile on his face and told us that he got his answer through a dream! but I couldn´t understand what he was saying about his dream.... But he got his answer and that´s all that matters! anyways I hope your all doing Good!! :D

I haven´t had any problems with flea´s.... yet (knocks on wood)

The bug one a little because I got a bite and it wasn´t going away but it´s gone now! and the mint one because my nose was really stuffy

No not really because it´s super dusty here so cleaning them is kinda impossible.

Well everybody, this week has been a super normal week...

Well everybody, this week has been a super normal week! We contacted some referels, we talked to some people in the street, and visited some members! My companion told me that the zone we are in was nicked named the zone of punish... those who were sent here were sent here to get punished! haha so the president wants to change that so that`s why most of our zone is new kids, because we haven`t herd of the zone and we have the burning fire to work! :D so with that knowledge me and my companion decided that we need to gain the trust of the members if we are going to be more succesfull! My spanish has gotten better! My zone leader told me that I`m in this process of where my brain is translating Spanish to English... so when I talk I`m translating from English to Spanish but when people talk I can`t understand them because my brain hasn`t switched back yet... but other than that it`s going fantastic! so my companion bought this stuff called El Manjar! IT IS SOOOOOOOO GOOOODDDDDD I can`t even describe it to you it`s so good... it`s kinda like carmel, and it goes fantastic on oreos! anyways... we also taught this guy and I could hardly understand him but he talked to some Jehova`s witnesses and they gave a pamplet thing but he had a ton of questions they couldn`t answer! so we went and visited him. As he was talking I looked into his eye`s and could see his soul like "help me"... but I couldn`t talk to him.... yeah but we have an appointment with him later this week!

Coolest thing?

for P-day we hiked a mountain all the way to the top and the view was amazing.

Some of the dogs here are pretty ugly... like they are walking around with their bones sticking out of their body...

Alright so this week has been a pretty normal missionary week! finaly"! :D we taught some people, knocked on doors,ate at members houses. I´m kinda bad at teaching because I don´t know the language so I try to participate as much as possible but it´s usually not very much! but we taught this dude who owns a restaurant and the spirit was very strong and after we finished teaching and prayed his wife came out with some food.... it was alright but not the best and she also gave us some of this juice stuff that.... just.. no... haha anyway this other guy in the restaurant started asking us question and I couldn´t really understand what was being said so I was looking around the restaurant and the owners wife was breastfeeding her baby right in the middle of the place!!!! I quickly turned around and focused on the questions.... later I asked my companion what just happened and he said that its pretty normal that that happens............ anyways we also gave a couple members of the family Mancilla de la cruz some blessings because they are sick. I´m really injoying this place when the days start to be the same somthing interesting happenes!!1 like when we were coming here to the internet café a lady got hit by a car!! she got up and started yelling at the driver! I´ve been reading the scriptures a lot in spanish and english and it has helped my so much! I´ve noticed my spanish is a lot better and I can feel the spirit a lot stronger during lessons! :D Well that´s pretty much it for my weekly update!

How is the food?  The food here is pretty fantastic! I stay away from the sea food but everything else so far has been pretty normal!

Did you get your package? I don´t know... we get our mail in one bunch every month..

How is your branch? Pretty small... but the people are very nice!

Do you wear your footy pjs? I haven´t yet! I think i´m going to wait until it gets colder!

What is your favorite part ofPeru?  The way Peru works! like the taxi´s and the people!

What can't you buy in peru? I don´t know... I haven´t really needed a lot yet.

Craziest moment inPeru?  

I witnesed a lady breastfeed in a restaurant and also a lady get hit by a car...

How many times have you been asked "how tall are you"? Everyday at least 6 times a day...

How is your companion ? Awesome!! it´s his last two months so he´s super energetic!

Yes!!! I wake up and realize that I´m in peru not my bed at home!

Yes!!!! ITS AMAZING!!! you guys need to get some from that peruvian restaurant! yeah we can´t drink the water... no we don´t have a stove and also our microwave is broken... so we have this box the is full of purified water! :)
